Crimewave

Crimewave's world is surreal, fractured, and distorted, blending 90s shoegaze with modern electronic music. Often described as My Bloody Valentine meets Aphex Twin, he brings a futuristic take on shoegaze, using The Jesus and Mary Chain’s wall of sound, cut up and transformed by technology. His debut EP, Altercation, released by Black Acre Records, reflects the gritty Northern nightlife - increased police presence, club rage, and rain washing blood down streets. It’s less about a concept and more an observation of surreal real-life moments. Crimewave has supported acts like Kim Gordon, George Clanton, and others, with headline shows in London, Manchester, and Bristol, solidifying his place in the UK underground music scene.
